Ex-Voto Machina

Documentation of Ex-Voto Machina at the Bush Hotel, Storefronts Seattle

System designed in multiple 3D CAD/CAM environments and built using multiple digital fabrication processes & machines not limited to Digital Mill, CNC, 3D Printer & Laser Cutter.

3D render of a physical component built as part of a of a sound installation created during a residency at the Dr. James & Janie Washington Cultural Center.

Three Fans (detail)

Dismantled motor housing designed and built for mechatronic sound sculpture Three Fans. Each housing could be completely assembled and reassembled for debugging purposes. Final project show in video below.

Rack-and-pinion system study

Still image from animation, visual study for a functional drawing machine using stepper motors & an Arduino micro-controller. Data from this 3D file was used to digitally fabricate components, including creating parts using CNC, 3D Printer & Laser Cutter.

Model of proof-of-concept for bluetooth controlled electronics. Built and rendered in Rhino (CAD). CAD data used for digital fabrication.
